charles-hamilton-drawingAt the end of January, Charles Hamilton made a shocking return to music with a snippet of a new song called “Correct.” Since then, we learned Hamilton signed to Republic Records and a new management company, Turn First, followed up with a tell-all cover story with Billboard, which details his depression, run-ins with cops, struggle to find his dad and being committed to by Turn First. Over the weekend on a radio station in England, the full version of “Correct” appeared.

“Correct” has Hamilton recollecting on his life thus far, describing how he ultimately just wants to fit in, saying that if he ever is “correct,” he hopes we wish him well. And we do. He’s back making music, with people who care about him and that’s all you can wish for a man who has been through and thought what he has.

Hamilton will have a song premiered on Empire, a show on FOX, which features Rita Ora, on the show’s season finale called “New York Raining,” so expect some new music from the Harlem rapper soon.
