Listen to Greyhat’s bouncy and slippery “Tired”

It’s Christmas Eve and even if you don’t celebrate it, hopefully you get the day off to appreciate the frantic last-minute shoppers. That will be in a bit, but I also get the morning off so I’m playing catch up.

Greyhat isn’t the type you’ll see posting a new song every week and it’s apparent why. “Tired” is a composition. It’s not a flip here, a flip there, loop and done. The drums are everywhere and bounce off the speakers in bursts, but they hit in all the right spots. The buzzing synthesizers flow with emotion and with direction. The volume of the synths change as the song build up, adding another layer when needed to push the song into flipped vocals that get the listener out of their seat and jerking some part of the body to the beat. “Tired” feels like a two-minute water slide that has bumps and swirls, but is still a soothing trip from top to bottom.

Greyhat has to have something in the works and you’re not going to want to miss it. Enjoy:
