Listen to Tobias’ beautiful, ambient demos and help him buy a new laptop

For [name your price], you can help this boy…

Through a very talented producer and friend of mine, greyhat, I was introduced a producer named Tobias. greyhat showed me a track called “Side A” that was 12 minutes long, but did not bore. It’s an ambient, emotional journey guided by different tones of synthesizers and vibrations. No couple minutes are the same, but it only seems like that if you’re skipping around as the track weaves together and you begin to visualize a continuously-rolling film. It feels like it belongs on Buckethead’s Electric Tears (let’s talk about this if you’ve listened to this album, please) with watery, slow-moving tides of sounds that mold the track. All but a small section towards the middle that feels more uplifting and is playful with the production and samples.

Now that’s all about one track that introduced me to this guy and he had many handfuls more of tracks like these. And they’re all gone. Due to technology being what it is, his laptop crashed and is not returning. He lost his stems and his many hours of hard work. Not only that, but he needs a new laptop and he needs some help to afford a new one. He uploaded the demos he had that he may never get to touch and add to again on his Bandcamp and you can grab them for free. Or you can donate and help him not cry more when he looks at laptop price tags. I suggest the latter.
