I won’t be blogging as much as I used to. Blogs have a weird place in music today, but that’s another story for a different day. With that said, the music I will be posting on here are must-listens, must-watches, must-check-outs, all that good stuff.
You need some Ivan Ave on serato in your life and the new visuals for a new version of “I Do” is suitable persuasion. The new version brings on fellow Oslo native Nanna.B to put the cherry on top in form of angelic background vocals throughout the track. And the best way to bring that new version in is in the form of a retro-styled video feeling straight out of an experimental film from the 80s that fits perfect with the buzzy synths and retro snare hits of Mndsgn.
Helping Hands is out now through Jakarta Records in vinyl and cassette form. If you were digging the vocals of Nanna.B, I recommend you check out her newest single released through Boiler Room called “Beaches.” Oslo making moves!
