Chow is a rising rapper and producer making alternative hip-hop with touched by innovative, hazy psychedelia. His works are crafted from the sanctuary of his home studio, where he’s cultivated his sound in relative solitude. Growing up in the small city of New Bedford – away from the frenetic scenes of major cities like Boston – afforded him the space needed to develop his distinctive style.

Through community building and critical acclaim from publications such as Lambo Extra, Medium, FocusHipHop and others, he’s positioned himself as a prolific artist to watch. Performing has also become a new passion for Chow; recent live sets in Brooklyn and Harlem have allowed him to put his dedication to the art of his craft on full display, often DJing and rapping simultaneously.

Chow’s foray into music making began in his early teens. Inspired by The Neptunes, Nas, MF DOOM, Timbaland, R&B, salsa and reggaeton, his sound’s been shaped by a diverse palette. Alchemy, his debut album produced in collaboration with Jay Cinema, captures Chow’s low key, yet determined energy. His left-field production offers a vivid glimpse into his creative process, influenced by psychedelic experimentation, a quest for knowledge, Vedic astrology, and a passion for technology.

Now working on several new projects, he’s collaborating with his longtime friend Jadooks on a tape for their group ShiBGrmy and with producer Kiluhmanjaro from Connecticut on another exciting project. Despite his busy schedule, he continues to work on ideas for his next solo tape, ensuring fans will always have something new to look forward to.
