Blending bedroom pop, R&B, and electronic influences, renowned photographer Dolly Ave made a notable entry into the music scene with her 2021 debut EP, "Sleep." Representing a significant milestone in her artistic journey, it encapsulates Dolly's transition from self-loathing to self-acceptance. The title, suggested by her friend Joe Han, symbolizes the cyclical nature of relationships and personal growth – even before she fully realized it herself.

Productionally speaking, this is one of the smoothest, cleanest, and most atmospheric records that’s come our way in a long time. Paired with her heaven-like vocals, there isn’t a single dull moment on the entirety of Sleep.

Dolly Ave is the epitome of a creative, not just in all the things she does (singer, songwriter, photographer, etc.) but in how she continues to push herself in each of those things.

The work is laden with compelling songs, demonstrating a veteran approach to artistic delivery despite the nascency of her music.
