Ehiorobo and Icarus Moth’s collaborative EP, Mutamelior, is a genre-defying exploration of growth, change, and hope. Blending lush R&B melodies, hip-hop rhythms, and vibrant electronic textures, the four-track project draws inspiration from house music, UK garage, and contemporary pop. The title, a coined Latin phrase meaning “to change is for the better,” reflects the duo’s shared belief in transformation—both musically and personally.

Recorded over three to four years in Icarus Moth’s home studio, Mutamelior captures the evolution of two artists who have spent nearly a decade refining their craft. Ehiorobo describes the tracklist as a journey from uncertainty to hope, a theme that inspired the accompanying Hope Gradient Tour.
